Abstract

One of the main obstacles encountered in the study of our musical instrument is its organization. This work aims to solve this problem by introducing a unique, innovative and engaging approach for musicians in the field of study organization. To this end, I developed a method, inspired by the sports context, which is based on contextual interference, also known as random practice. In essence, this method involves the implementation/creation/random construction of short study sequences, in order to constantly keep our brain's attention high. I have been able to verify the effectiveness of this approach through a successful educational intervention conducted with three of my students at Scuola Biaschese Tre Valli. The results of this study indicate that the proposed method is effective for the participants in the educational intervention and an improvement in their artistic and personal skills was observed.
